AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
With my trip ending the day that Disney World decided they would close due to health concerns, I am so glad I decided on trip insurance. Had the trip been planned even a few days later I would have been out a lot of money if it weren't for insurance.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
My husband developed a terminal illness shortly after we purchased the plan. The company provided me with the forms and instruction of what I needed to do to submit a claim. I provided the documents and submitted the paper work and had my reimbursement within 6 weeks. I am pleased with the plan and their responsiveness.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Prime
Trip insurance, like most other insurance, is a necessary evil. Damned if you do, damned if you don't! Fortunately, we didn't have to review the coverages and did not have to file a claim on this trip. We just trusted the protection was there if we had needed it.

Fortunately I did not need to use it. There were 3 of us on the tour of 38 persons that had our luggage all the way through. All the rest had to go home w/o their checked luggage! So thankful I had mine!!

I purchased the plan in good faith thinking I will never have to use. Unfortunately my husband Deonarine Prasad fell and broke his leg. I could not get hold of anyone lines busy and long hold times so I gave up. We handled ourselves with medical in India paid out of pocket expenses. With assistance of the airline somewhat we are back home.
I am not one to complain but this was unacceptable

Since I did not have a reason to file a claim, I can't comment on that aspect of my purchase but I found the experience very positive. It was easy to fill in the query and select a plan based on my requirements and budget. I always recommend insuremytrip to friends looking to buy travel insurance.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
You guys covered nothing that was important. You had to be in the hospital in critical condition or dead for your company to pay out anything. The Cronovirus was not covered because of the latest status. What good was it. I just got ripped off over a very poor choice of mine. NEVER AGAIN....

Generali Global Assistance plans do not offer coverage if you cancel your trip due to fear of traveling due to Coronavirus, unless you added Trip Cancellation for Any Reason coverage. It is important that you review your Description of Coverage, which are available before and after your purchase. Having no claim makes rating the coverage and service from General mute. But having coverage does give assurance of protecting the family from unlikely but possible expensive medical expenses.
