This was a terrible company. They kept losing the things we sent them and didn't return calls. There were three people involved in this insurance and they sent the information to the one, but not to me. Then when they finally sent to refund checks, they sent them all to me! I then had to forward it to the other person.

Very poor claims handling - first response to a claim submission denied payment for a $100 claim without any explanation as to why claim was denied. Pay a bit more and go with a company that does not have such a narrow, ill-defined interpretation/definition of an "accident."

Our family traveled to Costa Rica for two weeks and bought the insurance to be safe. We had a relative that was in poor heath and older parents and we just wanted to know if something did happen our money would not be lost. Two days prior to the trip I became ill and spent the night in the hospital and thought we might have to cancel the trip. Thank goodness all worked out and we enjoyed our trip and never need to use the insurance.
