I very much appreciated the degree of confidence it gave me. I travel overseas often leaving my wife, who does not like to travel, at home. I would like to see the option of having insurance added that would cover the flights needed to get to a US departure/return Port of Entry/Exit.

Great option to supplement whatever other personal insurance one might have to make sure your loved ones are provided for in case of an unfortunate accident. Everyone traveling abroad should consider purchasing this type of policy. I will definitely use their services again.

Travel Visa Medical
I purchased this travel visa medical plan for the purpose of my Schengen visa application and subsequent 1-week trip to France. I cannot comment on how good the coverage was or customer service as I never needed to use the medical plan or file for a claim (thank God), but as far as the visa application was concerned, this medical plan was more than sufficient to satisfy the Embassy's requirements. No questions asked and I got the visa in a week. For that purpose, I definitely recommend this!

It’s worth the peace of mind when you are traveling out of the country. This was the first time to purchase insurance for international travel and I had a lot of questions before purchasing a policy. The staff was very understanding and helpful. We will purchase another policy next time we travel out of the country.

If you also wanted to insure the cost of your trip as well as including coverage for medical expenses while you are on the trip, you should have purchased Comprehensive Plan. Most Comprehensive plans offer Trip Cancellation, Baggage, Medical, Dental, Emergency Evacuation, 24 Hour Traveler Assistance, Baggage Delay, Travel Delay, and Accidental Death Coverages. Unlike the IMT Travel Accident Plan, premiums for Comprehensive policies are based largely on the length of the trip, the ages of the travelers, and the cost of the trip.
