The representative wasn't very helpful with information when we called. We overpaid for the insurance because all we could have used is the required medical portion. We were not eligible for the travel insurance because we didn't purchase it within the necessary window.

I never travel without trip insurance. I would feel like my trip was ruined if I had to come out of pocket several thousand dollars for things that are covered by a few hundred dollars with insurance. It is always easy to purchase and compare plans. Fortunately I have never had to file a claim but feel confident that I would be taken care of should the situation arise.

With the unknown of both Covid and a family member with poor health, we felt comfortable insuring our vacation with the Plan we choose through InsureMyTrip (we searched for a plan that met our needs).
