Atlas Journey Explore, underwritten by U.S. Specialty Insurance Company (USSIC), is a comprehensive trip protection plan for U.S. residents traveling domestically and abroad.
This customizable plan features a Trip Cancellation benefit that provides full reimbursement for prepaid, nonrefundable trip costs if you cancel your trip for one of many covered reasons. It offers many other travel-related benefits as well, including Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Missed Connection, and Baggage Damage or Loss.
Atlas Journey Explore also includes several travel medical benefits to help cover unexpected health costs, like Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains.
Customize your Atlas Journey Explore plan by adding one or more optional upgrades, including a Trip Cancellation for Any Reason upgrade. This benefit upgrade offers reimbursement for up to 50% or 75% of your nonrefundable trip costs if you cancel your trip at least two days before departure for a reason not already covered by your Trip Cancellation benefit.
Other optional upgrades include Adventure Sports, Rental Car Damage and Theft, Medical Evacuation, and Pet Care.
Finally, the Atlas Journey Explore plan features travel assistance services to assist you before and after you depart on your trip. These multilingual services include medical assistance, transportation services, emergency travel services, pre-trip information, referrals, and more.
