WorldTrips Atlas Rental Secure
Atlas Rental Secure, underwritten by U.S. Specialty Insurance Company (USSIC), is a vacation rental travel insurance plan for U.S. residents traveling domestically and abroad.
This plan is designed for travelers who have booked a hotel, vacation rental, and/or rental car for their trip. It includes Property Damage Liability and Rental Car Damage or Theft benefits in case of accidental damage to your rental or theft of a rented vehicle. The plan’s Hotel or Vacation Rental Accommodation Overbooking benefit can provide reimbursement for alternative accommodations if your rental is oversold.
This plan also features a Trip Cancellation benefit that provides reimbursement for prepaid, nonrefundable trip costs if you cancel your trip for one of many covered reasons. Some other travel-related benefits include Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Missed Connection, Travel Inconvenience, and Baggage Damage or Loss.
Atlas Rental Secure also provides some coverage for unexpected medical expenses through its Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense benefit and Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains benefit.
You can enhance your Atlas Rental Secure policy by adding one or more optional upgrades, which include Trip Cancellation for Any Reason. This benefit upgrade can reimburse you for 75% of your nonrefundable trip costs if you cancel your trip 48+ hours prior to departure for a reason not otherwise covered by your Trip Cancellation benefit.
Other optional upgrades include an Adventure Sports upgrade and a Pet Care upgrade.
Finally, the Atlas Rental Secure plan provides access to travel assistance services before and during your trip. These multilingual services include medical assistance and emergency transportation services, travel support services, pre-trip information, security assistance services, and concierge assistance services.
