Thank you for your feedback on the policy. In the future, please consider speaking with us prior to purchasing a policy. We would be happy to provide you with an explanation of the pre-existing conditions exclusion. For your particular policy there are three requirements for a pre-existing conditions waiver:
a) the Policy is purchased within 14 days of Your initial Trip deposit; b) the booking for the
Covered Trip must be the first and only booking for this travel period and destination; and c) You are not disabled from travel at
the time You pay the premium

This was the first time we purchased trip insurance. We are now in our 70's and we were leaving the country and it was an expensive trip. There was actually a death on our cruise.
