The TripMed Multi-Trip plan is an annual plan that covers multiple trips taken internationally during the year. You have the option to select a maximum per trip length of 30 or 90 days and also can choose the deductible limit as well. As with the single-trip TripMed plan, this plan also has an option for Hazardous Sports Coverage.

We were delayed by the airline and missed our overnight accommodation at a 5-star hotel. I was surprised that the hotel would not refund our stay and the trip insurance did not cover it. Lesson learned on our part, and would have to be more careful in the future.

I have no idea how it would have worked since I didn't have to file a claim. I will be on some other trips and I believe it will still be in force. Hoping I never have to find out.
