Outstanding. You get more than the cruise ship offers. I felt safe and great knowing I had insurance traveling so far. I didn't need to use it, but happy I had it, just in case! Great company! Great everything, price and what you get for your money. I highly recommend this company

Policy does not cover expenses If a third party excursion provider fails to get you back to the ship prior to leaving port- you have to look at these third party providers very carefully before deciding if there is risk. Policy with the added cancel for any reason was expensive. There seemed, however, to be fewer qualifiers with filing claims than other policies, so we felt if we had a loss there was a reasonable chance that the claim would be paid. Our trip was successful and we are thankful we did not need to file a claim.

Just hope you don't have to file a claim! We paid nearly a thousand dollars for a policy that contains MAJOR exclusions written in the fine print about stolen baggage - both a long list of items and conditions under which they will not cover a loss. We specifically chose a plan with baggage protection, only to be told a month after our claim was filed they would not cover our loss because our travel bags were stolen from a locked car. Find another insurance company that does not play this kind of game with customers to avoid paying for situations you may find yourself in through no fault of your own. Made a rotten travel experience even worse to know the insurance you purchased was worthless.

I filed a claim with the insurance after our cruise missed two ports due to a cyclone. Hang on to the paperwork the ship gives you that shows they have to deviate from the original cruise plan. We received $200 each for missing the ports. I would use this insurance again for our next cruise.

Will definitely use this plan again when cruising! About a week or two before we were to leave for our cruise to New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia, our original itinerary changed twice due to ship mechanical problems. Contacted Nationwide after returning home and filed a claim for the Change of Itinerary that was covered under our policy. Completed the information the same day, and sent the information in. Did not receive any questions from them with the information that was provided, and within about two weeks, received a check for exactly the amount the policy stated under the Terms and Conditions. Very good service!
