Nobody ever things anything will go wrong with their plans. But when it does it's nice knowing that there is a company that is there to help them through it. That's exactly what happened to us. We had to cancel our cruise do to a medical condition and Nationwide Mutual and Insure my trip came through for us in a very fast response and satisfaction time frame. Living in NC and faced with Hurricane Matthew, we consulted the insurance company about cancelling due to the storm heading straight for us. We were told if the ship leaves and your not on it then there was no claim, really!!! We were then told if your house was knocked down they would pay, really!!! I have home owners insurance for that. So I would be on a trip and my house would be destroyed and then they would pay, crazy. Nonetheless we drove well around the storm taking three days to drive what normally takes 12 hours to make sure we didn't miss the cruise, an unnecessary risk!!! Will NOT use again!!!

Fortunately, our trip was flawless in both travel and medically speaking and we did not need to file any claims. There were seven medical emergencies on our cruise and with each one, I thought of the plan we purchased and was so glad we bought coverage. I felt relaxed and secure in knowing I had "Insuremytrip" and Nationwide Mutual supporting me if such an emergency had occurred to my wife or me.
