three weeks before our departure date, my husband needed surgery to clear an unexpected blockage in an artery. The claims process was easy, and payment was prompt. Four days before departure, our son was in a biking accident. We just submitted that claim, but I expect that everything will go as smoothly as my husband's claim. What a run of bad luck! I'm just glad that we purchased the insurance from insuremytrip.

Although we didn't need this, we had peace of mind that we would have help if needed for this long trip planned months earlier. We needed to make a few minor changes (dates and cost coverage) and there was no problem doing that.

I'm glad to fill out this form but truthfully, I think it provides you with no information. Thankfully, I did not have to file a claim. One NEVER KNOWS how good any insurance is, auto, home owners, health, etc. UNTIL/UNLESS you have to try to get money out of the company!!! I have no way of knowing you good the company I selected would be if I needed medical help. So although I've been encouraging and optimistic in my "review", I'm merely guessing. I have NOTHING upon which to base it. I could just have easily said it was a crummy plan. I chose it obviously because I TRUSTED it would be a good plan and deliver what I needed if I had an illness or accident. But I did not so I'll never---thankfully---know!

we had one delayed bag by Delta. They sent to us within 3 days to Africa. Is there any compensation your policy provides in addition to Delta or only the difference if they don't cover an expense? Thank you

You must be a ticketed passenger on a Common Carrier. Additionally, all claims must be submitted with verification from the Common Carrier of the delay or misdirection. You must also provide receipts for purchases which must accompany any claim.
