Since I thankfully didn't need to file a claim, it's not possible to comment on the level of service this insurer provides. The policy seemed to be very reasonably priced for the coverage provided.

Like most reviews for travel insurance, I did not have to use it. To really ascertain the comparative worth between plans, you should look for reviews that did have a claim. That being said, we did get value for our purchase, and that was peace of mind.

We were scheduled to leave on a Saturday, and Wednesday night I went to the ER and was admitted to the hospital. The claims people and forms were clear in describing what documentation they needed to process the claim. Be sure to save all of your proofs a payment, not just the "paid" invoices and tickets from the suppliers. You'll need everything for your claim, including the proof of refunds when they are applicable.

Fortunately, we have never needed to file a claim, but we feel secure with this coverage and the company. And InsureMyTrip is the best site to purchase travel insurance with as well!
