It's difficult to write a review for something you have not used, but I'm certainly not complaining :) Purchasing this policy gave us peace of mind while traveling and I would most likely purchase it again for our next trip.

I suppose one never knows how good trip insurance is until you actually use it. We did not need to use our insurance, and are very thankful for that. We found that this insurance was easy to purchase, it seemed to cover all the important points of our travel, and we would probably purchase the same plan again for our next travel adventure.

Had to cancel cruise due to illness, the claim service center was very helpful, sent me the forms, gave me directions on what needed to be obtained. Had some issues with Delta, the CS rep helped me get what I needed. Very prompt service.

Dealing with your representatives earlier this year was fine and that's my only frame of reference for replying to your survey. Not having to submit any claims is always nice--for you as well as for me. Thus, I'm satisfied. The real test, of course, is how satisfied I would be if I had to file and claim and how you handled my claim--if I had one.

In Italy everyone gets free medical care, even tourists. I wish I had known this when I bought insurance. It might have effected my amount purchased. Nevertheless, the medical transfer covered is important in the policy. I know about the free Italian health care because my room-mate had a reaction to an anti-biotic she was taking and the doctor and medication were free. Plus she got in immediately at the clinic.
We were in Apullia, Italy in the town of Polignano del Mara and we traveled everyday to other cities. We visited three UNESCO World Heritage sites within 1 1/2 hours of Polignano, to see Castello Del Monte, the Trulli homes, and the Sassi cave homes. The region is not visited by great numbers of Americans, so it remains very non- tourist focused and natural and the people are genuine and welcoming, but I would suggest know some Italian. The country side is filled with olive trees and vineyards and we visited both an olive mill, where we had a spectacular specially prepared lunch featuring many olive oils, and also a vineyard where we tried their wines and also had a great meal. The sea side is rocky and beautiful with towns clinging ton the cliff tops and there are larger cities with medeival city centers featuring Baroque churches and lovely balconied apartment homes. The skies are almost always sunny and you feel the same way. Loved this region.
