The TravCan Premier plan is the higher-end comprehensive trip cost protection plan from InsureAssist as it offers greater coverage limits and more options than the TravCan plan. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your travel, this plan will waive the pre-existing conditions exclusion if purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and if the full cost of the trip is insured.

Had wallet with passport stolen in Java; claim filed when home for lost expenses of pre-paid trip, travel to replace passport including airfare, hotel, meals. limit on per day so able to recoup only a portion. That said, very happy with the customer service representatives I spoke with each time. Would definitely use again, but tweak my coverage now that I have had to use it.

Thankfully we didn't have to test the value of the insurance, or the ease or difficulty of the claims process. It was nice not to have to worry, and having the medical insurance be primary was a key point for me. The program I bought was significantly less expensive that the program offered by the tour operator, with very similar coverage.

I didn't need to use the InsureAssist TravCan Premier insurance but on a trip to India I was glad I had it. Price and coverage were better than the insurance offered by the tour company. I also liked the fact that most of this insurance is primary pay and not secondary (if I ever did have to file a claim).

I checked many travel insurance plans before deciding on your plan. It provided maximum coverage for the most reasonable price (lower by a minimum of $300) compared to other plans. Thankfully, we did not have to use it, but it is comforting to know that it is there if needed.

My luggage was missing in action in Paris where they were having mechanical problems of sort. Although it was an inconvenience, I was relieved to know that I had insurance if needed. Thank you.

This plan has very good coverage with higher limits than other plans that I have looked at. This is the fifth time that I have purchased TravCam Premier. Fortunately, I did not have to file a claim for this trip. I did file a claim for another trip that I had to cancel earlier this year when my husband broke his ankle. The company made the process easy. When I called them to say I had to cancel they emailed me the forms. There were only a few pages to fill out.
You do need to send copies of all receipts of payment and a copy of the cancellation policy for each item that you are asking for a refund. For example, tours, airline tickets, and hotels. I make sure that I have copies of the cancellation policy with all of my confirmations then you don't have to search for them in the event you have to file a claim. If you are organized and have all of your confirmations and purchase receipts together while you are planning the trip you just have to make copies to send in with your claim.
