C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip 1 week prior to departure due to injury. C&F was very easy to work with and received a speed response and check. Less than 3 weeks from filing to approval. Claims, followups and progress checks can be done on-line. We will use C&F again on our next trip.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Basic
While I appreciate your desire for customer feedback, since I did not have to use this coverage, I really cannot answer your questions above, but had to in view of the fact that there was no room on any question for a "no answer' or "don't know" response.

But thank you for being there to enable to have coverage, even if i do not know how well it might have worked had I needed it.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
I'm glad I haven't used it this time. But don't be stupid and assume that you won't need it while traveling abroad. I had a very sad occasion couple of years ago when I had to interrupt my trip, and I was glad I had a travel insurance. If money is tight - skip one restaurant visit and eat at home/hotel, but get a travel insurance.

Generali Global Assistance Premium
was a great plan, even greater because I had no problems and did not need to use any of the coverage. It is comforting though to know, that, in case of a problem I was covered. Thanks gary

Buying insurance has always been a dilemma for me. I hate putting out the money for something that I may not use but then, you just never know. I'm a risk person so I probably won't buy trip insurance again.

AXA Assistance USA Gold
My cell phone was stolen while changing trains in Naples Italy. We reported this to the ticket office and filled out a report but did not have time to get a copy. When I filed a claim for it, AXA wanted a police report which, being back in the states, could not be obtained. I showed them emails suspending my service with Verizon and having Samsung disable my phone. You can not talk to an adjuster just someone in customer service and they can only read your file to you. I paid over $600 for the insurance and was only asking to be reimbursed $175. BAD, BAD!!!

    We have received the following response from AXA Assistance USA:

    "We appreciate the feedback you have provided. We are sorry to learn you weren’t completely satisfied with your purchase. Unfortunately, when filing a claim for stolen personal effects, a police report is required as stated in the benefit description of your policy. In the future, you may call us during your trip so we may assist you in clarifying policy benefits and with the claims process prior to incurring additional costs. We sincerely hope you will consider us again for future travels."

    This is an industry standard procedure regarding stolen personal property with travel insurance.

I purchased this plan in large part due to the efforts of the agent who ultimately sold me the plan I purchased. However, before I made my final decision, I spoke with an agent who was available when my initial agent was away. Had I been dealing with this person, who was impatient and reluctant to fully address my concerns regarding the policy I was considering, at the beginning of my travel insurance research, I would not have ended up doing business with your company. (I am sorry that I do not have both agents names.) I called you for this trip because I used you for a trip to Cuba in 2016 and was satisfied with my experience. However, your reputation alone, without consistently high quality customer service, will not guarantee you repeat business.

April Travel Protection Choice
I ran into an issue where a severe train delay caused us to miss our flight. This should be covered according to the plan. Of course, April insurance underwriters are trying to pay me a fraction of the cost, and they're using nuances to getting out of paying.

Dear Insure My Trip, is there any insurance company that is straight forward? I'm tired of buying travel insurance and finding out that it doesn't cover anything...I'd pay more just to be treated fairly
