It's difficult to write a meaningful review of it, as I didn't have to file a claim. And that's where the rubber hits the road for any insurance. But I must say I was treated carefully and well by the people I dealt with online, and especially when I had to change my coverage before the trip started. They made it easy for me.

I unfortunately had to cancel my trip due to injury. The claim process was straightforward; I was able to submit the documentation via email; and it was processed and I was paid within a couple of weeks. I wish I'd been able to go on the trip, but I'm glad I had this insurance when I wasn't.

AXA Assistance USA was exactly what I was looking for. Due to some travel plan chances before my first covered trip, I changed the dates and location of of trip. aXA / Insure my trip was very cooperative and helped me chance with very little fanfare. It was nice to go away with insurance, in case we needed it. Thank goodness, we didn't. It was close though, as our departure flight was close to being cancelled due to maintenance issues. But we took off, albeit 2 hours late.
