John Hancock Gold
Our trip was canceled in Nov. 2017 by our travel tour company, who closed their co.
It took us until March 2018, after many phone converrsations, letters, copies of contracts, etc that it was finally agreed we deserved our monies we paid for our trip that was canceled for us, not by us.
Until this time we have used John Hancock numerous times with no problems, and would recommend.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
Fortunately, have never needed to use it for a claim, so I cannot comment on how that process will work. But I have purchased this policy for a number of overseas trips to Italy and Russia.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
I was required by my tour organizer to have insurance although my credit card provided coverage. Considering that I have health care coverage also and that Italian National health service would be available, it was an unnecessary expense.

Travelex Travel Basic
A claim was submitted because there was a trip interruption during the cruise in that a port of call was not fulfilled due to weather, a valid condition. Travelex did not honor the claim basically saying that the cruise itself was not interrupted. However, we would not have incurred this additional expense for this port if it were not originally listed in the itinerary. I thought I had appropriate protection coverage only to find out this was not the case. BUYER BEWARE!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!

    With the Travelex Travel Basic policy, weather-related claims would only be covered if the following had occurred:

    Trip Cancellation / Trip Interruption:
    3. Common Carrier delays resulting from inclement weather, or mechanical breakdown or organized labor strikes that affect public transportation.
    4. arrangements cancelled by an airline, cruise line, motor coach company or tour operator, resulting from inclement weather, mechanical breakdown or organized labor strikes that affect public transportation.

    Missed Cruise Connection Benefit:
    We will reimburse you for Covered Expenses, up to the amount shown in the schedule, should you miss your cruise departure as a result of the cancellation or delay of 3 or more hours of all regularly scheduled airline flights due to inclement weather.

    Although this particular policy would not cover the situation you have experienced, we do have other plans that could, depending on your trip details. It's hard to rate the plan because I did not need to use it. However, it was nice to know that it was available to me should I need to. The rate was reasonable and purchasing it was easy to do.

AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan
My husband & I fortunately never had to use this coverage. We have signed on to it several times. The reason has been, our Daughter had to use it a few years ago in Europe on one of her children and highly recommended it to us.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
Thankfully I didn't need it for this trip, but when delays rerouted me to another country on another airline I was glad I would have been able to make a claim.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Basic
Since I did not have a claim, my satisfaction cannot be judged by this coverage. It is when I have a claim and I would be covered that satisfaction would be experienced. Now I see I must answer the "satisfaction" portion of the survey in order to submit the survey. I am not dissatisfied. This questions is misleading.
