When primary medical does not cover the policy holder internationally, a policy such as this, is a mandatory in my view, since a serious and unexpected event could be financially devastating.
I found the coverage to be comprehensive and the cost effective. Well worth it, even if only for peace of mind.

I had a two-month cruise and wanted to be sure to have insurance. InsureAndGo's policy was very feature and price competitive.
I had a small on-board doctor medical bill. After my primary had paid it's part, InsureAndGo paid the balance promptly. It worked as advertised. I'm satisfied and will certainly consider using them again.

The below requirements are industry standard for Baggage Loss claims, with slight variation from policy to policy.
If Your property covered under the Policy is lost, stolen or damaged, You must:
(a) notify the Company, or its authorized representative, as soon as possible;
(b) take immediate steps to protect, save and/or recover the covered property;
(c) give immediate notice to the carrier or bailee who is or may be liable for the Loss or damage;
(d) notify the police or other authority in the case of robbery or theft within twenty-four (24) hours.
Reimbursement is based on the Actual Cash Value of the property at the time of Loss up to the policy limits. Original receipts for the lost items may be required to receive a maximum amount of reimbursement.
