The TravCan Premier plan is the higher-end comprehensive trip cost protection plan from InsureAssist as it offers greater coverage limits and more options than the TravCan plan. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your travel, this plan will waive the pre-existing conditions exclusion if purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and if the full cost of the trip is insured.

I experienced atrial fibrillation on the last night of our cruise and received excellent care from the Princess medical team on board. The need to keep all your receipts and documents cannot be stressed enough. I am a good record keeper so I had everything required by the insurance company. Overall, I was pleased with the claim service and will use the company again in the future.

Easy to sign up, good coverage, and reasonably priced. With all the trips and falls experienced by other passengers on the cruise, I was glad I had this valuable insurance protection.

I am glad that you are out there. I like shopping for my basic needs. Trip insurance seems over priced to me, but I am happy that I didn't have to use. The true test will be what happens when I do have to submit a claim.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The policy cost for comprehensive policies is determined by the cost of the trip, the duration of the trip, and the ages of the travelers. Also, the optional "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit was selected on your policy and did result in additional premium.Sep 16,2014

Trip insurance brings a peace of mind to those of us with elderly parents, a sick spouse, or just some unexpected event like weather that can shorten or cancel vacation plans.
