Didn't use the coverage but I do thoroughly review the policy terms prior to and after buying and I was very pleased with the coverage terms. In fact I think there were a few items where this policy provided a higher level of coverage for a lower price than comparable package policies (for example, shorter tolerance duration for delayed baggage).

The only thing that prevented the plan from being perfect in my eyes that I was going to NYC and I need is a higher reimbursement for luggage replacement

I'm sure there are actuarial tables for this, but I think there should be some sort of discount for repeat purchasers, particularly using the same insurance plan from trip to trip.

I was seeking coverage for all nonrefundable expenses if I had to cancel, and this policy offered what I was seeking at the least cost. I didn't file a claim so I can't comment on that, but InsureMyTrip provides excellent service and an easy way to compare and purchase travel policies. I know from experience that the easy part is buying the policy. The difficult part is making a claim and collecting, which I have had to do on previous occasions. The insurance companies can be very difficult to convince about the legitimacy of a claim, and they make one's doctor jump through hoops with excessive documentation.
