I traveled with a hiking group of women who were all in our mid to late seventies. Because of our age and the high level of physical activity we all opted for this insurance plan and were secure knowing that we were fully covered for any eventuality. Luckily, we didn't need to make a claim.

Be careful with increasing trip cost that must be insured with addendums to original trip cost. Our trip cost increased as we booked additional tours, etc. Insurance quote started out being about 10% of trip cost, but ended up being around 12%. I might have chosen another insurer had I known he rate was going to increase that much. I called customer svc when the last addition increased the cost increased about 15% of the added cost and was told that was their rate schedule. Next time I will request a schedule of the rates for various trip costs.

We didn't need to process a claim so I don't know how easy it is to deal with the company from that side. I was just grateful that if I needed to cancel our trip due to almost any reason, I could. What I purchased with this policy was the ease of mind knowing I could recoup some of the costs if needed. Thank you.

It never occurred to me to buy travel insurance until my mother came to visit me in the U.S. a few years ago. During her stay she was forced to seek medical attention; luckily she'd purchased travel insurance and all of her medical costs were covered.
Peace of mind is priceless, and for considerably less than $100! I hope I never need to make a claim, but if I travel abroad I guarantee you I WILL be purchasing travel insurance, just in case ...

I booked a trip of August 12, 2019, at it was cancelled on June 23,2019. I still have not heard about the cancellation of my trip. I sent in the information on June 23, 2019, June 28, 2019, and July 17, 2019. It was for the cancellation of my trip at 75% of the costs I have maintained. I still have not heard any thing. I hope anyone who is booking a trip with them should think about someone else.

This insurance trip covered us while we were on our 12 day Alaska vacation. Part of our trip included a southbound cruise from Seward to Vancouver. While in Juneau, a middle aged man in his 40 or early 50s had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. He and his family's vacation ended, sadly, but hopefully they had trip insurance like this policy to cover that expense, as it was going to be HUGE when you add up the cost of the trip, the cost of the medical assistance on board, the ambulance ride, the hospital bill, the hotel and associated expenses for his family, plus the trip home (wherever and whenever that might be). Yes, YOU need trip insurance like this policy.
