It's very difficult to review an insurance product for which we didn't file a claim. The process of narrowing and selecting our insurance options was easy and well facilitated by your website. Coverage was available for all the contingencies we needed, however, we did not need to utilize the insurance.

The coverage was great, helped me feel a lot more secure about traveling to a foreign country. I do think everyone traveling would be wise to get insurance, I know I will next time I'm going to travel outside the country.

Of course, the real test of the plan is when you have to use it, and I am grateful that we didn't need it, but the online order process was simple, the benefits explained with reasonable clarity, and we could therefore not worry about that aspect of being abroad.

It is particularly difficult to comment on the adequacy - or otherwise - of a medical insurance without having been through the claims procedure - which, fortunately, we have not had to do.
However, we would like to see cover offered - perhaps optionally - for cancellation of air fares; other pre-booked items of expenditure can usually be cancelled without loss - provided that time limits are observed. Ticket conditions can be very restrictive and lead to the loss of the whole fare if a holiday has to be cancelled.
Similarly, cover for some items such as repatriation costs for children could be made optional - not everyone travels with children!
We have found this insurance to be particularly valuable as, although citizens of the UK, we are (with one exception that I know of) unable to get travel/ medical insurance from a UK company as we are resident in France - Heaven knows why!

fortunately we did not have to use the plan. i had asked for a copy to be sent to me via the postal service but it never was. that is important because many times i did not have access to my email account if i had needed to see the coverage.
