My problem was getting the policy. I had asked that it be mailed to me. It never came. I asked again and was told it had been requested. It never came. Finally, I asked that it be e-mailed to me. Then I got it. The 2 people I talked to both said they would call the company but who knows what happened.

We have confirmation from Frontier Medex that the policy was mailed on 8/23/12. We did contact them twice with this request. We are sorry for this inconvenience.Sep 24,2012

We had a good trip to Europe and England and felt that the medical insurance was a great thing to have for peace of mind. Luckily we had no need to take advantage of the policy but will take out insurance with you again the next time we take a trip abroad. Your pricing is very reasonable and we got our money's worth. I suffered a minor ear infection in France. Not worth claiming as the cost was:
French doctor's fee 23 euros
Antibiotics etc 10.50 euros
Total; 33.50 euros - approx $50 US

Our trip was last minute, so I got medical coverage at the last minute. InsureMyTrip site is one I have used before and it never fails to provide choice, convenience, very knowledgeable and helpful customer service staff. The MEDEX TravMed Abroad plan had everything we wanted and needed, although I did worry about the 'window' for pre-existing conditions. I chose this plan because its window was shorter.
