    Thank you for your comment. You did purchase the least expensive Comprehensive Coverage Plan that we were able to offer for your trip. However, since the policy premiums are based on the age of the traveler, trip cost and length of trip, the premiums do increase significantly for the higher age groups.

CSA Travel Protection Custom

TravelSafe Classic-Plus
I did not use the coverage, I can't comment on being satisfied with the plan since I did not file a claim. I always purchase travel insurance. I routinely pick the Travel Safe Classic plan as it appears to provide the coverage to best protect my plans.

Allianz Global Assistance Basic
We had to cancel the trip at the last minute because of illness and filed a claim for the covered loses. I had to send the documents three times before Allianz acknowledged receipt. They then paid my claim in full, even adding in an item I had missed.

CSA Travel Protection Custom
We had to cancel our trip because one member of our party was unexpectedly hospitalized for a mental illness. Most policies will cover claims if mental illness results in hospitalization, but not CSA. If there is any chance of a claim for this reason, people should avoid using this insurer.

We did not have to use it but it was a comfort for several reasons. First, whether it was us or my elderly parents, we would be reimbursed if we had to cancel. Second, my Obamacare is useless and unusable with a screaming high deductible and I was carefree knowing I would have medical insurance for the month long trip.
