The Voyager Choice is a single-trip Medical plan which offers emergency medical coverage while you are traveling abroad. This plan does require you to have primary health insurance in place, but there is no exclusion for pre-existing conditions. With this plan, you have the ability to select the medical limit and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with.

I didn't file a claim, so my opinion is based entirely on assessing the elements of the plan for the coverage I wanted and ease and clarity of enrolling. It's a good plan in terms of short look-back periods, high maximum coverage limits, and generous coverage for medical evacuation.
