Came down with covid and also a secondary infection.
I call a representative who initially called back but I was being examined by a doc and asked to be called back.I was never called back even after reaching out a view times..I have now incurred doctor bills and lodging I lost and had to pay out of pocket ..This company failed to provide me with coverage I paid for..

I've used the service several times...
In the plan I had delay on flight to help cover unforeseen cost...
The flight was delayed in Hong Kong for roughly 26 hours.
Called to verify my coverage.
They told me it was not covered because it's not a labor despite.
The protests in Hong Kong shut down the airport several days.
Do to this situation. I will not be using this company or its services ever again and will do everything in my power to make sure anybody I know and come in contact with doesn't either... Thank you for nothing but taken my money.

In the future, please call us prior to purchase so we can review the plan benefits with you and answer any questions you may have about coverage. In fact, you may call us any time at 800-487-4722 to discuss travel insurance products offered by InsureMyTrip. We are open 7 days a week, and all of our representatives are licensed insurance agents. We have also forwarded your comments to the provider and received the following response:

The plan you purchased includes a variety of covered events under which we can provide coverage if a covered event interrupts your trip. Unfortunately the Trip Interruption benefit does not cover interruption due to civil disorder. However if reasonable expenses were incurred as a result of a trip delay there is potential Trip Delay benefits coverage and we recommend you submit a claim for consideration at csaclaims.com. This is the worst experience I've ever had. I have been trying to file a claim for 4 days but no one ever answers the phone. I was on hold over three hours yesterday no one picks up. Absolutely a scam.

I ould not afford a plan that covered anything other than severe acute hospitalizable medical care. Rather, i had four brief hospital stays all of which were below the deductible PER episode. I paid for each event in cash and none of the events were enough over the deductible for each event. First dollar coverage for any medical need was not in m y policy. It is a crap shoot whether to pay the very very high premium expecting to need a hospital or doctor visits, or pray not to get sick UNLESS it is a catastrophic illness. BH never loses in either scenario. It's just business to them.

i had lost baggage from tacloba, phillipnes to manila, philipines, i tried to file a claim for baggage location
or reembursement but i was then informed of receipts needed, place of purchase and price, which these conditions i was not informed of prior to purchase, which is very concerning when this is the reason for purchasing insurance, so i have no chance of baggage recovery, the money you spend with this company is useless for, warning keep your money, this company has bogus claims of offering any assistance to anyone

My wife baggage was delayed for about 18 hrs. I was filing a claim with I- travel website but for oddly some reasons it keeps asking to upload a documents which I provided for the first three steps. And there was a question if the airline settled the claim, there was no choices of N/A or no answers, so I couldn’t proceed to the next step. I called I- travel customer service, that’s a mistake on my part because the person I talked to kept saying use my desktop computer instead of my phone. She keeps saying my I-phone was the problem. With the amount of documents the website was asking, I rather use my phone to take photos and upload them. There were times that my conversation with this person became adversarial and my wife asked me to end the phone conversation. True to the point, you can find out if the travel company is good when you start making the claim. I should have trusted my own guts to stay with generali. I bought the insurance from them before and no issues when I made the claim. I have no idea how IMG has a high mark. I will not buy travel insurance from IMG again.

AXA Assistance USA Gold
Flight was cancelled due to airline error & employee neglectfulness. I had to reschedule my flight and pay out more for an additional ticket. Sent proof of all my additional expenses to the company since it was supposedly covered under the policy. Only got paid by insurance for a day of delay on the cancelled flight and got no assistance for unexpected rescheduled ticket or additional fees caused by the initial cancellation.
