Since I (fortunately) did not have to file a claim, I cannot comment on their claim service. But their customer service in setting up the plan was quite good. The price is high (perhaps 10-13% of the insured amount) but it seems that is the going cost for any competing plan too.

This travel plan was expensive and I have no confidence at all that if needed, AXA would actually help us or pick up expenses. I need to rethink whether I need travel insurance in the future.

We thank you for your comments. Policy premiums are based on (1) age of travelers, (2) trip cost, and (3) length of trip. Your premium was only 0.059% of your total trip cost which was actually economically priced when compared to other plans with comparable coverage.
