I'm glad to fill out this form but truthfully, I think it provides you with no information. Thankfully, I did not have to file a claim. One NEVER KNOWS how good any insurance is, auto, home owners, health, etc. UNTIL/UNLESS you have to try to get money out of the company!!! I have no way of knowing you good the company I selected would be if I needed medical help. So although I've been encouraging and optimistic in my "review", I'm merely guessing. I have NOTHING upon which to base it. I could just have easily said it was a crummy plan. I chose it obviously because I TRUSTED it would be a good plan and deliver what I needed if I had an illness or accident. But I did not so I'll never---thankfully---know!

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We advise customers keep all receipts and documentation for any expenses associated with the trip before and during the trip. Each claims department employs claims representatives who send the policy holder claim forms and a list of required claims documentation. It is very important to provide all requested documentation in a timely and efficient manner when filing a claim. My husband and I unfortunately developed bronchitis/walking pneumonia on our Viking River Cruise. A doctor made a "house" call to the boat in Hungary and prescribed medication. When we returned to the United States, we called AXA Assistance USA, who helped us find an Urgent Care facility in Atlanta before we returned to our home in Florida. Urgent Care also prescribed medication. We filled out AXA's online claim form and attached scanned copies of all our paperwork and receipts. They paid almost $700 in full within two weeks with no questions. We'll definitely use them for our next trip!
