Called to file a claim for fracture tooth during trip, it was denied by insurer and was informed by insurer only will accept claim if it was taken care of in country of travel.
How is one supposed to find dentist /orthodentist in Antartica and rural Chile.
Suffered pain for over 6 days
Made a appt with dentist on day of return who had my records for over 20 years of regular cleaning every 6 months with no prior to history of dental problems .

It gave me peace of mind knowing that I was covered and did not have to purchase the $25/day Rental Car Insurance offered by Alamo. Also knowing that any emergency medical situations were covered during our trip is a nice way to relax and enjoy our trip to the fullest..

To me, it's almost ludicrous to ask me my opinion on an insurance policy that I purchased but didn't utilize. Honestly, the value of a policy only reveals itself once you need it. Then, you realize whether it helped, covered as expected, or was easy to deal with. The up front cost wasn't bad, but I'd have not a clue about whether it's good, fair, or bad coverage or policy.
