Plan covered emergencies. We had none and didn’t need to make any claim. We have no idea about how they would have handled a claim if we had needed to make one.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
We did get ill on the trip and had to see a doctor with prescriptions. The tour company picked up the cost so no claim was made. The insurance is very pricey but we do not feel we should travel without it.

Since I have not encountered any problem on my trip,I have no experience on the claim process which is crucial to make a comment. The best thing about insurance is that you never have to making any claim.
