    Although it is true that your plan was certainly not one of the least expensive plans offered to you, the CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe was one of only two plans that offered coverage for Pre-existing Medical Conditions. Most Comprehensive plans would have provided the Pre-existing Condition Waiver only if you purchased the plan within 10 to 30 days of your Initial Trip Payment. Unfortunately you were more than one month after that first payment when you called. Keep in mind too that you also purchased a plan that was rich in benefit limits since it included $250,000 in Medical (secondary) and $1,000,000 in Emergency Medical Evacuation coverage per person.

    Our recommendation is to call us at 800-487-4722 within 10 days of your first payment for the most competitive pricing.

Took several attempts to be sent the forms to fill out to begin the claims process. They did cover my stolen Ipad and cover to the max of the plan, but it also took longer than needed to be issued the check.

GoReady Insurance Choice
I seldom have needed to insure a trip, but with this trip costing in excess of $15K I felt it prudent. That being said, I really have no experience of what such protection should cost. It added another significant cost to an already expensive trip. Was it a fair price? I do not really have the experience to truly state yea or nay. In comparison with other such travel protection plans I got more for my money than it appeared I could get elsewhere. I did not have any incidents that made the coverage necessary, but I was glad to have it.

The CSA travel protection custom plan appears to have good coverage, but the real proof has to be if I had to file a claim. I have bought this travel plan many times in the past, and due to my senior age, is more expensive than if I was younger. Considering I've never filed a claim, plans (any plan from any provider) should give discounts to repeat customers who have never filed a claim.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
Thankfully nothing went amiss during our recent week-long cruise of the Galapagos Islands and we did not have to file a claim. It was reassuring to know, however, that we were insured against a variety of possibilities. Customer service is spectacular, and answered our questions in a prompt and courteous manner. Despite the fact that the country “required “ proof of medical insurance, we were never asked to show evidence of coverage. I felt like I threw money away but if I had needed to file a claim, you were there.
