I have purchased several plans from CSA through InsureMyTrips. I've been pleased with the coverage and feel comfortable that if anything were to happen, that I would have the coverage I need. Thankfully, I haven't had to file a claim. But I appreciate the peace of mind that comes from having these policies for my travel. I appreciate the fact that InsureMyTrips makes it so easy to purchase a plan. I find that when I compare plans, CSA has comprehensive coverage for a reasonable price. I feel CSA provides plans that are good value.

This was my first time buying trip insurance. On the way to the airport, our flight was canceled and our nine day trip would have been delayed by two days. First we panicked, then I remembered I bought trip insurance. We called CSA and they explained to my husband that we could rebook flights and gave us the amount they would reimburse us. We did buy new tickets and arrived at our final destination only 5 hours later. Our family vacation was back on track. It did take 6 weeks to get the claim approved and paid but it was an easy process. Very happy.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that you are dissatisfied with this plan. You are correct in that the International Medical Group Patriot International is a secondary policy. The majority of travel insurance policies are secondary.
If a travel insurance plan is secondary, the insured person(s) would be required to file a claim with their primary health insurance first. If coverage is denied or only partially provided, the travel insurance would cover the remainder, up to the policy limit.

Comprehensive policies cannot be extended or purchased after departure date. However, Travel Medical plans can be. If you end up in a situation like this, you always have the ability to purchase some protection.
