I have purchased insurance from InsureMyTrip many times for multiple trips. I had to use the insurance to claim for a cancelled trip only once without any hassles. I was surprised and rather dissatisfied to learn that your insurance is secondary. I will not purchase it again because I want primary insurance. Fortunately, I had no need to file a claim.

In the future, we would be happy to assist you in finding a primary policy. My daughter was ill on her trip and I was unsure whether she would need to find a doctor in Northern Ireland. I called the help number and the representative was very helpful. My daughter ended up not needing care, but I felt reassured that there was good service behind the policy.

I did shop around for insurance and this plan offered me all the coverage I was looking for at a very reasonable cost and from an insurer that I recognized. Additionally, InsureMyTrip customer service representatives are wonderful, knowledgeable, and courteous (something sorely missing in many companies today).
