American Express Global Travel Shield Deluxe
I wouldn't recommend it because I didn't have to use it, so I don't know if it is good or not. In comparing prices and coverage this plans seemed to cover what I wanted at a reasonable price. I liked that it provided coverage for preexisting conditions because I have health insurance even though I did not buy the policy within two weeks of making my first payment for the trip.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
As we fortunately did not need to use this on the trip, we cannot give you much feedback.
We almost missed a plane connection, but made it, and our luggage did not arrive with us, but did come the 2nd day.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
CSA was most cost effective of a group of highly expensive travel policies overall. We had no claims so it's a sunk expense.

Hard to recommend a plan that you don't use and therefore have no experience with. I think it was good insurance and thankful we didn't have to use it.

TripAssure Advantage Asset Plus
The plan provided all the coverage we thought we would need at an acceptable price - and one much lower than that offered by the tour agency. The procedure to purchase the plan was very easy and straightforward. We did not need to file a claim so we can't comment on that part of the policy.
