Yes, I was mostly satisfied with this insurance plan. Since I did not file any claim for reimbursement, I cannot comment on the claims process. Coverage offered by this plan appeared to be excellent in several areas. I would purchase this plan or similar one again for future travels.

Did not have to use - but would want to know ahead of time if luggage is lost - it is a HUGE process to file a claim...must itemize everything that was in your bag, along with receipts for everything in your bag or if no receipts you will have to spend hours researching possible replacement costs and submit those print outs.....thank goodness my son's bag showed up.....but probably not worth it in the future for us - as the lost baggage piece was one of the most important to me. However, it did give me peace of mind for overseas travel - but likely will not buy again.

Very slow. Supplied requested info and waited then asked for additional info. Sent requested confirmation they received it no response add 30 days waiting then another 3 weeks before payment. Very poor communication.

Not cool when I tried to make a claim due to an emergency before the trip, provided all the documentation requested and after spending a lot of money on this trip, turned around and told me my emergency wasn't covered. The purpose of me getting this insurance was because of the amount of money invested in it and the long period of time we had to wait to travel. No, I won't recommend this company to anybody and I will never use it again. Not worth it!!

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that you were unable to travel due to an emergency. Trip Cancellation reimburses 100% of the pre-paid and nonrefundable trip cost if the trip is cancelled due a covered unforeseen event. If the reason for cancelling the trip is not a covered peril or results from an exclusion, the claim will be denied. Please call us at 800-487-4722 and request a Customer Advocate if you feel as if your claim was incorrectly denied. You can also contact CSA Travel Protection to receive further explanation as to why your claim was denied.Jun 30,2016-

Very comforting to have comprehensive coverage for a long and pricey trip paid for months ahead of time. Our Vet is having fund raisers to help pay to return her partner from Spain after being struck on a biking trip. She requires $60,000. This makes the risk/rewards ratio of having bought CSA Trip insurance absolutely compelling.This was my third policy. Each time I compare the coverage to price and CSA wins each time. Way better bargain than offered by cruise lines and tour packages. I look forward to my next trip!
