Thankfully we didn't need to use the plan but the initial process of sign up and paperwork was easy. Read the fine print for details. All in all, we had peace of mind for an adventurous trip to a new country.

I only want a policy that covers the costs associated with trip cancellation, and travel delays that might occur during the trip. I already have coverage for medical and medical evacuation. I am paying for stuff I do not want or need. However, this plan was competitively priced.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
It’s hard to rate satisfaction since we did not file a claim. Trip insurance is very expensive as we are in our 70s. However, compared to other plans this one seemed to have good coverage at the most reasonable cost.
