This was my first time purchasing trip insurance. It was an expensive trip and we were concerned about the possibility of last minute plan changes due to my elderly mother-in-laws health. Fortunately all went as planned, insurance wasn't needed but I'm glad we had it.

I love that insuremytrip.com allows you to easily compare different policies. With this purchase, I had to make a change of destination, and the customer service team was able to make the change with just a couple of emails.

Only problem was getting the plan in my hands before the trip as the paperwork was sent to the wrong address. Was not sure if I had to be at my residence when the re-mailing occurred as I was not at home when it was planned to be sent. Thought maybe the plan had to be signed for. Paid post office to delay the delivery for 4 days until I returned to my address.
