Filed a claim. It took about a month to get my check. Claim was for trip interruption and you should beware that the maximum for return airfare is $750 per person. That goes really quick when you are trying to book a last minute international flight home.

Your condition of having to purchase insurance, for full/all coverages offered, within a few days of booking is unreasonable. I book cruises 1-2 years in advance, so this is not convenient. Many times the cruise line changes the dates of the cruise, sometimes more than once, so this creates extra work for me. I wish you would pick a more reasonable time frame, like 120 days.

It took 7 weeks, 3 messages and 1 phone call to get my simple claim processed and paid. All 3 of the messages I sent online were ignored and AIG gave me no explanation of when my claim would be processed. It took an angry phone call for any movement to happen.
