My only problem with all travel insurance coverage is not related to the items above. It is the age related increase in cost for me and my wife who are in better health than most travelers half our age.

Being as I never needed to use the coverage, it is hard for me to rate this policy. I do think it was more worthwhile (and less expensive) to buy one policy that covered both our airline tickets and our cruise using InsureMyTrip instead of purchasing two separate policies from the airline and cruise line.

My wife and I were joining three other family members and the health of all 5 of us was a factor. We were also a little worried about the weather in the Carribean. I was happy with the coverage and the price. Thankfully I did not need to use it, but the reassurance was a comfort as the trip approached.

Glad I didn't need to use the benefits, but also glad I got the policy. The coverage was quite comprehensive and if I had had any trouble on my trip, I would have been covered. It felt like a lot of money to spend for a policy, but the peace of mind was worth it.
