The plan met my needs and I'm glad I didn't have to use it. However, I'll know for future travel insurance inquiries to purchase a policy shortly after I buy portions of my trip so as to be eligible for all benefits.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. As you correctly pointed out, the best time to purchase this plan is within 14 days of making your initial trip payment/ deposit. In doing so, you can qualify for financial default, pre-existing conditions waiver, and Cancel For Any Reason. Time sensitive benefits are available on the majority of providers comprehensive plans and can also include Cancel For Work Reasons.Jul 10,2014
