I didn't have cause to make a claim or use any of the services this insurance provided so I'm truly unable to say whether or not it was a quality plan/company but the way they have the questionair set up, one has no other choice but to endorse the company.

Fortunately I was not the group member who had to be hospitalized in Shetland for a gall bladder issue, but I was gratified that had I had an unforeseen problem I was well insured.

My suitcase was 24 hours late when I returned from my holiday. I called for a claim form and explained my 24 hour baggage delay, the operator on the phone stated that the coverage for baggage delay was for purchases made, I told the operator that I didn't need to make purchases as I was already at home but I wanted to claim the $100 for 24 hours delay. I wasn't able to claim as I made no purchases, I was disappointed on the wording of the insurance coverage.

As you indicated in your review, Baggage Delay coverage in Comprehensive Travel Insurance plans reimburse you for the additional expenses that you incur during the trip due to a covered Baggage Delay. Since you did not make any purchases, there were no additional expenses so there would be no reimbursement under Baggage Delay.Jan 16,2016 -
