Stuff happens! And when you're booking a cruise a year in advance with your two sisters, each of us coming from different cities, a lot can happen. If one cancelled, would the other two go ! How great to have options and be protected from financial loss. For a couple of hundred dollars you can insure yourself against almost all contingencies (except onboard arguments!). Peace of mind!

As more and more people become caregivers of aging parents, disabled children or spouses, a policy that includes coverage for a hired caregiver canceling because of illness or death would be a good feature.
