I have yet to need to file a claim so I don't know how well the companies that have been suggested will actually come through if I have to cancel a tour or travel plan.

Thankfully we did not need to file a claim for the travel insurance and were able to enjoy our trip. I did not need to use the insurance, so normally it would be hard to judge whether I was satisfied or not. However, one of my travel partners became gravely ill after our trip was booked and down payments were made. She was able to recover all her costs in a very timely manner. I will stick with this insurance in the future!

Did not have to use it but seen how it is very important to have insurance. Three people became sick on our trip one had to have a doctor to the hotel which I was told cost $950.00 2 times.

We have purchased trip insurance several times and had two claims - one for trip interruption on an international trip and the most recent for a cancellation due to medical reasons. In both cases the claim paperwork was reasonable, the processing prompt and the payment complete. The claim representatives were helpful, polite and able to answer my questions. Without a doubt, we will purchase insurance from InrsureMyTrip for our expensive trips. Well worth the money.
