My mother in law had a stroke 3 weeks before our trip and we had to cancel. We were refunded 25% by the cruise line since we were in the penalty weekand after filling out all the paperwork we we refunded the balance from CSA Trip Insurance about 3 weeks after the paperwork was completed. I highly recommend travel insurance and will use CSA again.Apr 15,2014

My husband fell on ice, tore his knee tendon and broke his kneecap 2 weeks before our trip. He is in a cast from hip to ankle and will not be able to travel for months. CSA was extremely prompt in giving us a full refund. This was our first experience filing a trip insurance claim and we were extremely pleased with the results.

I didn't use the plan, so I really don't know whether it works or not. I was happy with the InsureMyTrip website experience, and a multitude of carriers that were presented to me. I am an insurance professional, so I understand insurance very well. The website does a good job of dealing with a very specialized type of insurance which even professionals like myself don't have much experience with. Even though I did not use the plan, which I am happy that I didn't have to,the coverage as described in the policy seemed adequate.

This is comfort insurance and well worth peace of mind. Often when you do not have it and wish you did you agonize needlessly. Just do it, have it, and know it is there only if needed. I thank all the reviewers for mentioning the value of peace of mind!Apr 30,2014

The coverage was explained well, the price was reasonable and the previous reviews led me to purchase this policy as a single trip plan. It was good to know our trip would not be a total financial loss in case the trip had to be cancelled due to a covered reason. The policy purchase confirmation arrived immediately in my email and it was easy to apply and pay for.

This is my second time using InsureMyTrip. Thankfully, both times I did not have to use it, so I cannot report on how it works if I had a claim. However, it was easy to sign up and receive the coverage a few hours before leaving on my trip.
