Generali is a complete racket. I have been tying for weeks to follow up on a claim and all they do is give me the run-around. Obviously they don't want to pay out the claim so they are ignoring me and hoping I'll give up. What a bunch of crooks. Will never use Insuremytrip or Generali again.

I have bought travel insurance multiple times in the past, but this was the first time I actually filed a claim. The process to file the claim online was very easy to use. I received the approval to my claim only one day after I filed it and a check arrived in the mail a week later. I was very impressed and would definitely use Generali Global Assistance for further travel insurance needs.

We purchased this policy to guard against various risks on our trip after comparing a number of offerings. The website was great at facilitating our research and decision-making. Best of all, none of the risks came up so we enjoyed ourselves and did not have to file any claims.

I did not file a claim. I bought the plan because I'm now in my 70's and need to be prepared. That said, I think the cost @ more than $400 for a week is excessive. I have no idea how well Generali would have preformed had I needed them. I did, however, see you have offices in both Papetee and Moorea which was comforting had I needed something.
