We planned a trip through Allegiant and bought travel insurance through their package. Once I read through the insurance coverage, I realized there was no refund if we had to cancel the trip, just a voucher with a time limit for redemption. We bought the package 6 months in advance. Because of our age (late 60s and early 70s) I cancelled the travel package. Then rebought the travel package without travel insurance and went shopping for our own coverage. General Global was our choice because of the coverage and price. Happily, we did not need to file a claim.

I used CSA on a previous trip. I was hospitalized for a week in Venice, Italy. They performed remarkably well, aiding me at every step in postponing flights, arranging transport back to the USA, etc. Could not have asked for better. Needless to say, I use them each time, now.
