My Grandaughter and I went to Africa (Tanzania & Zanzibar) for 17 days. I was secure that any incident would be covered and we would be ok financially and otherwise. When our luggage went astray and I left my purse in the security bin are times that could have been not good. With the Travel Protection I was more relaxed. We got the luggage back in short time and the security guard had my purse. No worries this time but I will always get protection from CSA whenever I travel!!

We were lucky enough during the trip and all went fine. We do not have a need to file a claim. But the feel of some security offered by the plan was comforting.

The insurance plan is good overall but is an old people thing and is definitely not recommended for younger or adults who can manage the travel plans them selves. No complain to about the coverage as i never needed to use it so i can't say anything bad or good about it. I would say it was a waste of money for me.

Insure My Trip coverage was easy to obtain, provided coverage offerings I wanted and was reasonably priced. Fortunately, I didn't need to file a claim.

The trouble with a plan like this is that you can never know how it really works until you have to file claim. But the policy sounded like it covered our concerns at a reasonable cost and relatively low deductibles. That's a strong combination.
