I didn't use the plan, so I really don't know whether it works or not. I was happy with the InsureMyTrip website experience, and a multitude of carriers that were presented to me. I am an insurance professional, so I understand insurance very well. The website does a good job of dealing with a very specialized type of insurance which even professionals like myself don't have much experience with. Even though I did not use the plan, which I am happy that I didn't have to,the coverage as described in the policy seemed adequate.

This is comfort insurance and well worth peace of mind. Often when you do not have it and wish you did you agonize needlessly. Just do it, have it, and know it is there only if needed. I thank all the reviewers for mentioning the value of peace of mind!Apr 30,2014

The people at CSA were very prompt and professional in the handling of our request to reimburse us for a day lost on our recent vacation to Florida when the airline cancelled the only flight available from Asheville, NC. Would recommend them highly. The claim was handled speedily. A great company

I could not file a claim because extreme weather conditions were not an allowable condition but we canceled our trip to NY because the temperatures were expected to reach ZERO and did!

Thank you for providing a review, but in order for your policy to have provided coverage, the extreme temperatures would have to cause your travel providers to cancel or delay your trip. As you indicated, this did not happen. You voluntarily decided to cancel the trip which would not b a covered reason under any of our plans.Feb 13,2016

As I did not file a claim, it is difficult to say how that would have been handled. I purchased the plan because it covered the necessities (trip interruption, baggage loss, etc.) which I found necessary for my vacation, and at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely consider them in the future for another trip.

The coverage was explained well, the price was reasonable and the previous reviews led me to purchase this policy as a single trip plan. It was good to know our trip would not be a total financial loss in case the trip had to be cancelled due to a covered reason. The policy purchase confirmation arrived immediately in my email and it was easy to apply and pay for.
