Airline mechanical difficulties at the airport for last leg of the trip, delayed flight by 1 hour, only because another plane was available. If this problem had occurred at the originating airport, where there was no other plane available, the cruise ship would have already sailed away. Having Trip Interruption coverage was worth the peace of mind, knowing that eventually we would catch up at a port further into the journey and have the costs covered.

The insurance gave me peace of mind. There were many possibilities for the trip to have issues and on an expensive trip, the loss of it or additional expenses would have been difficult. I am happy that I bought it at a reasonable price and even happier that I didn't need it!
