The insurance was not needed, but the peace of mind made it worth it. There were three medical emergencies on my trip. One required a helicopter evacuation. Another required a passenger be hospitalized in one port. The third was taken off the ship in another port by ambulance. I am pleased that I had coverage that was not needed.

We have used CSA on every trip we take. Fortunately we have needed to file any claims but its good peace of mind. Because our anniversary is on Nov. 22nd we normally travel at the tail end of hurricane season,

I purchase plans from Insuremytrip.com and have probably filed 3 claims out of perhaps 20 policies purchased. To make a long story short, I filed for trip interruption, damaged luggage, and lost item and of the 3, only partial payment ($50) was made on the luggage claim, all the others were denied despite substantial documentation. Wouldn't purchase from this company again.

We were able to reimburse you for the actual cash value of your damaged luggage. Our Baggage Coverage takes depreciation into account based upon the age of the item claimed. Getting older = getting insurance. Reading more about people cancelling their trips for various reasons and getting stuck with the trip costs. Insurance is not cheap - it adds up if you travel a lot and get it every time. BUT, considering the alternative, and most health care plans do not cover you outside the country, it's protection from a possible catastrophe.

This time we had no problem, but I would never travel without
CSA TRAVEL protection. On our previous trip I got sick just before leaving and got reimbursed for the flights and cruise without any problem in a short time after sending in the doctor note and paperwork. CSA has helped me a lot!
